Centered on Christ Saturday - What is a Hero?

Hello fellow Christian girls! This is Guinea Pig Lover! :D I had completely no idea what to post today for the Centered on Christ Saturday, until this afternoon. I was listening to the radio, and a song came on that was about how we could be heroes.
Everybody has a different definition of the word hero. Some people feel that they can be a hero themselves, while others think that there is no such thing as a hero, because they are myths like Superman. When I went on dictionary.com, the definition for hero is 4 different meanings. I will copy and paste them below.

1.a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities.
2.
a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal:
He was a local hero when he saved the drowning child.
3.
the principal male character in a story, play, film, etc.
4.
Classical Mythology.
  1. a being of godlike prowess and beneficence who often came to be honored as a divinity.
  2. (in the Homeric period) a warrior-chieftain of special strength,courage, or ability.
  3. (in later antiquity) an immortal being; demigod.

Do you know where this thing is going?
In my opinion, and probably yours too if you are a Christian, Jesus is a true hero. He fits 1 and 2! I would say three if the etc. means real life! Of course, I agree with this song that you can be a hero too.

Although, I know that Jesus is the perfect description of the common word hero. He saved us all from our sins, he healed the weak and sick, and he definitely had courage and bravery. If he didn't, he wouldn't have been able to have the courage to die on the cross!
As for a bible verse (which we don't have to do), I got this off of Google Images:

Romans 8:31 is your bible verse for the week. I picked it out, because no matter who is against you, Jesus is our hero and he will protect you always. :) Let him be your hero.
